For
decades silver has been used as a natural antibiotic. I never thought
much about it until my mom had a run in with a “super staph germ” that
could have killed her, according to her doctor. You can easily benefit
from using natural antibiotics and you don't have to wait until you are
sick either. Natural health is your birth right and I can help you learn
about the tools that are available.
Using
silver as a health agent is increasing. According to Ian Chopra,
“Silver first gained regulatory approval for use as an antimicrobial
agent in the early 20th century, but its usage diminished with the
introduction of antibiotics in the 1940s.” This article can be found at http://jac.oxfordjournals.org/content/59/4/587.
In
the winter of 2010, my eighty five year old mother took a fall and
scraped her knee pretty bad. My mom’s knee was healing well, but she
just couldn’t keep her dirty fingers off the scab. One day, she
complained about her knee feeling hot, I told her just keep her hands
off of it. When we got home that night, I notice her knee looked
inflamed, it was a lot worse! Although I am into alternative health, I
like to know what I am dealing with, so I took her into the emergency
room. The doctor knew my mom was only taking herbal remedies and never
took medicines, he told me that my mom had MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus), a super bug which is a staph infection that is antibiotic resistant. He said she could die from MRSA,
if not treated with the Big Gun, an antibiotic that they use for TB,
intravenously and one orally for eleven days; what a nightmare!
So,
from a minor scrap my mother was suddenly faced with a life threatening
situation that needed immediate attention. It was time for me to step
up to the plate and take a stand for what I believe is true, even when
the established medical community didn't support my ideas. Health is the
only real wealth we have. I wasn't about to stand by and do nothing
while my mom suffered.
The
prescribed antibiotics really made my mom sick, it killed all her good
bacteria and because of that she had nonstop diarrhea! Because she no
longer had the good bacteria in her colon, she got a yeast infection,
which made her bottom feel like it was on fire; she was in so much pain.
I started giving my mom some Silver Shield internally, it kills
bacteria, virus, mold and yeast, aiding the antibiotic in doing its’
job. After eleven days my mom’s leg had stabilized but had begun to
swell. The doctor wanted to do another round of antibiotics. I just
couldn’t do that anymore. I decided to give her a bottle of Silver
Shield throughout the day and apply the Silver Gel topically on her knee
and her bottom every day for one week. I also added Bifidophilus the
good bacteria for her colon. At last the MRSA
was gone. I am so grateful for Silver Shield it kills bacteria, virus,
mold and yeast without hurting the good bacteria in the colon. I will
never be without my bottle of Silver Shield.
As
it turns out, recent research by the the University of Hull and the
Hull York Medical School produced a joint effort with a large medical
device producer, Smith & Nephew Medical, to pioneer a dressing with
anti-MRSA properties. In fact, it's a a silver containing antimicrobial
barrier dressing according to their news at http://www.theengineer.co.uk/news/combatting-the-bug/299472.article. This is further evidence to the benefits of silver in effectively fighting MRSA.
Different
research over the last few decades points to the facts that silver has a
long and intriguing history as an antibiotic in human health care. You
